What happens during my first visit?

During your first visit your Physiotherapist will complete a full assessment of your condition including a detailed health history and a complete physical examination. They will discuss the results with you, set up a customised treatment plan and commence Physiotherapy treatment.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring any referral letters and relevant scans. If you are privately insured, please bring your card as we have a HICAPS machine for on the spot claiming.

Do I need a referral?

A Medical referral is only required for matters relating to Medicare, Motor vehicle insurance, Workers compensation and Veterans’ Affairs. Private Patients do not need a referral.

What should I wear?

Please wear appropriate clothing that will allow the Physiotherapist to adequately assess and treat the problem area.

Where should I park?

Please park in the driveway. There is plenty of parking available.

Can I claim a rebate from my health fund?

Yes, you can claim on your ancillary cover if it is part of your policy.

At Body Business Physiotherapy we accept all private health funds via our HICAPS facility with on the spot claiming for your convenience. Gap payments can be made by using cash, EFTPOS and most credit cards.

We require full payment on the day of treatment.
